Considering I just got some kooks on the way this thread is helpful. Looks like I'll need destructions, blood transfusions and beer

Oh, and the easiest way to get all the bolts out without breaking your knuckles is to get a few extensions and a swivle! That is possibly the most important tool that I used!

I also had trouble getting the oil dipstick tube loose. You would have thought it was welded to the oil pan the way i had to tug and pull on it.

Mechanics gloves saved lots of skin and blood for me. I just got a $5 pair from Harbor Freight.

I just uninstalled my headers and had the car up and running last week in less than 4 hours on jack stands.

Mine took me the entire weekend but I'm slow! LOL The tool I did NOT have and needed badly was a 13mm flexhead racheting wrench. I bought it later to retorque the nuts. OMG would that have made things so much easier. Buy it, its only $15. Do not pay somebody to do the install. Think of it this way, after LT install, everything else will appear to be an easy install! LOL

My LT install took 3 weeks!!!! But that is because I got my LT and was told the midpipe would be in the next day....the midpipe ended up being backordered and wasn't shipped :/. If I had all the parts day one: 4-6 hours. You have to find a dealer with a mechanic that understands moddin'
