Which one do you guys recommend...leaning toward the Cervini 4" cowl or the Steeda race cowl hood. Any body using either one? Pros and cons of the hoods? Any pics post 'em please. Thanks.

Pics of our cervini 4 inch. Would not recommend for regular street use. Right turns at intersections are tricky (cannot see right curb etc.). Zero issues with the hood. Nice fit....no rattling...no movement...no hood pins.

Anybody have the Cervini's 2.5"? Or something a little more modest than the Cervini's 4"?

I just don't like that the Cervini's looks like it was a stock hood with a harwood cowl molded to it. You can even see the line on the front of the cowl not lining up with the curvature of the hood

IMHO - the Steeda looks the best of the cowl hoods I've seen

Your monitor must be crooked or your leaning to one side in your chair...lol

No... look at the front of the cowl. See the line going from left to right??? there is not a smooth transition. It looks like they layed a 4" cowl on top of a stock hood and molded it on. I don't know how you don't see that god aweful line.

John that 3" looks just like my Steeda 2.5"

Except it's 1/2" taller and it's made by the same manufaturer.

Steeda's 2.5" cowl is made by KAENEN... The same company that makes our 3" cowl.

So they are the same.

However, the Steeda RACE hood is made by Boss, Inc... same look just a lot less material and a different finish on both the top and underside.

I see the line. I don't see it NOT lining up with the curvature of the hood as you stated. But hey...this is such an important issue...lol...next time I visit the car, I'll take a closer look.

I have the Cervini 2.5" cowl and it is perfect. Would not run it without hood pins, as i shakes all over at 75mph, but some people do it. Fit and finish are excellent. Will post a pic tonight for you.

Regardless... People go with what they like. I'm just stating my opinion about the lines of the hood.

This thread was ment to take about quality and fitment of the hoods.

Which were are doing and Cervini's Quality and Fitment are second to none. I like the BBR/Steeda/Kaenen hoods more because of the transition but would also own a Cervini's in a heart beat.
