Looking for First-Hand Supercharger Experiences (Stock Bottom End 3V)

I have the small Roush M90 PD blower. 5 lbs of boost. LT's, catted H, and a 94 tune from VMP. Also the FRPP twin 62mm TB...and K+N air filter. 386 rwhp on my 5R5S 5 speed automatic. 370 ft lbs RWTQ.
The PD blower works off a vacuum. You can have your foot into it pretty good, and not be in boost.

The advantage of the PD blower is..... you get the instant TQ hit. With an automatic, it drops down gears, with gas mashed, then you get the combo of instant TQ, and a lower gear(s). It will slam ur head into the headrest in 2nd gear.

IF my wife was driving the car, she would never know there was a blower in the car.

That and VMP with their 1.9L head unit swap. I’d love to have two for my twins. Also would be amazing if Roush still offered the 2.3L TVS for the 3Vs.

DOB's GT 450 with a VMP is probably the closet you can get to a Roush setup these days. Good kit. I have one in an auto; going on 7 years now. No complaints: https://www.departmentofboost.com/

Also, learned a great deal on the site before selecting the kit. Jason's been doing this for a lot of years and overall I'm really happy with the final outcome. Did all of the installation myself over about a 3-week period but I work slow. Everything worked as advertised and started right up when completed. Lito tuned.

I daily drove for over 60,000 miles on a used Procharger P-1SC Stage 2 kit that I bought on here. It dynoed around 460 hp, but with the factory 3.31 gears, it felt rather slow driving around town. However, when going full throttle from a dead stop, it felt fast and just kept pulling. I never really went over 6,200 RPM, and I had my shift light set at 6,000. The Procharger was loud, and the low-profile fan it came with was even louder.
My engine finally let go while cranking it up one day. I recently put in a used, low-mileage motor with an Edelbrock supercharger setup, longtube headers, and Detroit Rocker cams. With a 3.70 pulley and a Lito tune, it put down 473 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque. It feels way faster and more fun to drive, and the supercharger is super quiet. Even with the recommended DOB intercooler upgrades, my IATs are still around 120°F to 130°F. If I hadn't gotten such a great deal on the engine with the Edelbrock, I would have just bought a DOB setup so I wouldn't have to worry about IATs and would have some headroom if I wanted more boost.
