Looking for some help finding wheels

I happen to have 4 Shelby Super Snake 20” in chrome. Came off my 09 GT when I changed to staggered wheels and upgraded to Brembos. They are in ok shape. Look real nice after some Mother’s. I can send pics if you’re interested. I’d let em go for $100 each if you cover shipping.

These are stock wheels for at least the 2012 V6 and GT/CS. The difference with the GT/CS is it has GT stamped into one of the spokes and they are Grey you can get them at junkyards all over the US for around 50 each. Also they are 19's and 10 inches wide. They were stock on GT/CS and V6 Performance Package so they will clear your brakes and fender clearance and there aren't too many like them.

I know yours is an '09, but check out this wheel/tire thread (below) for ideas. Great info on fitment, rubbing, performance, balance, etc. as well as tons of photos. But be prepared, it might take you a few days to get through the entire thing. But its fun! I almost went down the rabbit hole again myself just now.

I've also attached a few photos of my 2010 with the Saleen Heritage (in charcoal that I picked up new for $450) that were originally meant for your body. They are 19x9 front (275s), 19x10 rear (285s). I've since added a black Ford oval to centercaps. IMHO, this is the perfect setup for the car, not too flashy, but still meaty, and nice performance/ride balance. Enjoy!

Hi Mr. Awsome, I’m not sure how much power you have or driving you do. However, I’m at around 500hp, spent quite a bit on suspension...after reasonable research and keeping a reasonable budget for what the car is (‘08 Bullitt, 26k on clock), I found my Best Buy was a set of ‘12 Leguna Seca Boss 19” staggered wheels. New, and at a good price. How much? I forget. They work great. You could run Conti’s or Pilots. Good Luck

As a point of reference, here is a cheap cast wheel vs a flow formed MOMO (parent company of Forgestar) with mounted tires.

The 20x10 (might be 20x9.5") Roush wheel is a cast wheel. The 19x11" Momo is flow formed. It is 12.5 pounds lighter - per corner. That's a 50 pound drop in rotating mass. And this is lighter in addition to be a +30mm tire and a wider wheel.

The wheel on the right is what you end up with here or in the "Chit Chat" sub-forum. The wheel on the left is what you end up with when you ask in "Corner Carvers" sub-forum.

Sounds like a pretty broad assumption. Not everyone is into hardcore road racing or spending 1500 on wheels alone. Nonetheless, thanks for your opinion.

If cost isn't a factor I buy wheels that are $1100 each (or more). The Forgestar wheels are the decent budget solution.

Finally ordered wheels. Ordered the AMR 18x10's in "dark stainless". They look pretty nice and fit my budget.

Getting NT555 G2's installed on Saturday. 295/40/18. Hoping they fit OK on the front. I believe they will.

I ran Nitto NT555 G2's in 275-35-20 on 20x9.5" wheels with 45mm offset. At any rate, there were rub issues in the front when at full lock turning. Hopefully you won't run into fitment issues with running 295-40-18's up front on AMR 18x10's. I suppose depending on the wheel offset will be the determining factor. Anyhow, just saying

Yeah I'm hoping for the best... I'm going to test them out first using a rear wheel. If it runs I'll go slightly smaller up front.

Test fitting first using a rear wheel would be the best way to find out, no doubt. Hopefully the 295's will work out up front with no rubbing issues
