It's been a while since I have posted on here and looking to get some feedback on what you guys would think the mustang is worth. I'm very torn on whether to sell it or not because it does need work, although it seems like minor things to me, it may impact the overall sell price greatly. Obviously this isn't something I can really figure out with KBB (or maybe it is) but I want the price to be fair so any input would be greatly appreciated from you guys.

To start off, it's a 2005 mustang gt. It has almost 160k miles on it but you couldn't tell from the outside or inside. It's been in an accident where I was sideswiped by a drunk driver, again, you can't tell from the outside since it was minor damage and was repaired correctly. No rust on the body at all. Recently the flywheel has started to make a rattling noise when in idle here and there. It's not constant and goes away once you start driving but I never replaced that when I did the clutch. It was only shaved down but that definitely needs to be replaced.

The major mod list:
Tuned by Lito
Paxton 1200sl pushing about 10psi
Fully intercooled with a CXRacing kit
Hotrod Cams
Delete plates
4.10 Gears
1 piece alum driveshaft
jba lt headers
catless h pipe
flowmaster exhaust
MGW shifter
Trans is fairly new (bought it from a member to fix the synchros issues with the original one)
RAM clutch
Trans brace
FR500 rims that have seen better days. No damage but 1 is leaking.
Suspension parts (lca's, fr sway bar, adj. panhard, sportline springs, gt500 struts)
Gauges (a/f, boost, water temp)
Probably a few other things I am missing

Overall, it's been a good car. Even with the high miles, the major parts have been swapped out and there's just I think the tune might need a little tweaking as I have some high idling sometimes but it's not often. Takes about 30 seconds to go away and drives fine after that. This car really needs to go to someone who can finish it up and understands it's not perfect but I don't know what that's really worth with the little issues it has. Appreciate your help guys!!

Posting pics would be helpful, so we could get a better idea of the condition.

Based on your info, even with the blower and mods, the age of the car, the miles, and accident history, and the fact that you said that it needs some work, I'd say you would be very fortunate to get $10K for it.

About $8500. Maybe $10K if you can find the right buyer.
$8500 is the exact number I had in mind. Wasn't sure if that was too low though. I think that's in the ballpark and a fair price knowing it has some small issues.

You really get virtually nothing for the aftermarket parts. I'm asking $15k locally for my car, I would really accept a bluebook offer and be ok with that. Sometimes you can find the right buyer, really likes your car and what's done to it, and just has to have it.

I've been tempted to remove the blower and sell it separately but I don't want to deal with shipping the blower kit and the Vegas heat is on. Besides, it's still decent selling leverage. I may take the car to CarMax and get an offer from them, see what it is, and use that as a rock bottom sell price. I sold my g/f's '07 GT w/109k and it needed some body work (couple dents, dings, scratches) for $9k to CarMax last year, and we started at $11,500 locally. After working the price down to $10k over 4 months, we did CarMax for $9k and were ok without the extra $1k. Hers was completely stock, too. It wasn't that we didn't get offers on the car, it was just most people couldn't get a loan for that amount on a car that old, and didn't want to lay down a chunk of cash as down payment and still carry a car note. Dumb if you ask me, why even look at a modern sports car if you're worried about money like that.

That's a great way to put it. I should give CarMax a shot and see what happens
