Mad as hell

This is kind of long. This happened in Fredricksburg, VA.

I went to a automated car wash about a week ago and it's one that you drive in and put it in nuntal and it puts you through. Well as I was coming in the car attended was gauiding me in and then all of a sudden I hear it scrap. The attender tells me to back up and as I'm backing up he says is your back tires bigger then the front and I said no same size. Then he ask is your car lowered and I say just the back. Then he goes and says we can't have lowered cars in here.

Well that pissed me off that he didn't ask or couldn't tell that my car was lowered. The other thing is now that I have parked my car the trans is leaking. Stang is a manual and I can't look at it or work on it until Thursday.

I doubt that you scraped the manual trans.
You would have taken out the oil pan first.
Even if you would have scraped it it would have been at the bellhousing which doesn't have any oil in that area.

that happened to me once but the LCA relocation brackets were hitting some stupid rails, there was a line of around 20 unhappy customers waiting for my car to get unstucked lol.

I've been in the same style wash in norfolk many times, no problems.

Your first mistake was not washing your car yourself. If you have to wash it when you're out, go to a coin op and do the touchless thing, or just spray it off with the pressure washer.

I use the coin-op pressure washer. It kind of sucks if it's real windy out or cold, but it is cheaper and safer than the "drive though" type.

I use the coin operated type as well and I bring my bucket withmy sponge too and everyone always looks at me like "wtf use the soap brush".

Heh, and those people are the ones who have never ever owned a black car with nice looking paint either. I get the same looks too.

This is why you never use those automated washes. My neighbor took his brand new $50k SUV to one and at this location the attendent sprays the car down first before you drive in. Well they fucked up and sprayed the wheel cleaner stuff and it instantly ruined every glass surface on his car. They eventually paid to have all of them replaced.....windshield, 6 side windows, rear window, side mirrors and sunroof. Also paid for the retinting of the windows. Huge Fubar!!! Fortunatly the chemical did not hurt the paint.
