Wouldn't the purchaser need to buy new bolts anyway?
To my understanding, the 8740's are a one time use bolt.

To my understanding, the 8740's are a one time use bolt.

No sir you can reuse them you just need to measure them with stretch gauge not torque wrench.

After a few reuses they wont stretch correctly and are done.
FYI your machine shop torques them to check the big end usually before installing them in the motor anyways. So even a new rod bolt will usually get torqued at least twice.
