What rpm do y'all shift at when driving aggresively? What about passively? I have a stocky 12' with 3.73. When going all out I shift at redline is that asking too much from the engine? When passively I go anywhere from 1800 to 3k. How fast do y'all release the clutch from a standstill? I go from all the way in to released in about a second, is that too slow? I'm new to mannys obviously

When racing, redline is not an issue.

With the boss manifold I'm shifting close to 8000 RPM (I aim for 7800).

With the stock manifold, the car seemed to like 7000 RPM or so.

I don't know where I shift under normal driving conditions, but it's low. I barely ever bring it past 4000 RPM when just cruising around.

To ensure smooth takeoffs, I gently release the pedal. When racing or being a hooligan, I found a slow slip of the clutch at 3000 rpm worked well.

At the track I run slicks, so I do 'dump' the clutch - generally around 3500 RPM.

Oh - and let me be the first to say - NOT TECH.
