Looks quite a bit stronger than the stock piece.... look at the front corners on the factory piece. They're completely unbraced.

Really I love it. Who cares how bulky it is when the whole thing can just drop out while leaving the motor in.

I think this is a different product from what BMR offers and shouldn't be viewed as a competitor to it.

The MM K member is a trick piece. Utilizing the blocks to hold the motor is some great engineering. I'll be picking one of these up for sure.

As I have stated in some other threads - I really like this piece.

I think MM did a great job with it, and it is a great solution for the hardcore corner carvers who want more rigidity, and better geometry up front.

As someone mentioned above, I definitely do not see this product, or even MM as whole, a competitor of ours.

I call things like they are. I run Maximum and Steeda stuff on some of my other cars. If I like a part, I will use it - and share the fact that I like it.

As for the BMR K-Member, it is a very good piece. It is definitely the most proven S197 aftermarket K-Member on the planet - especially considering the fact that it has essentially been flawless in terms of failure.

I believe the majority consumer will be drawn to our piece due to saving 22lbs, and being durable. I also believe you cannot compare this MM piece to ours, for several reasons.

Again, props to MM for offering this part. It is very nice.

...oh, and yes. Our welders are about as good as they come.

The fact that it separates from the engine mount and oem mounts can be used is pure winning...I'm sold on it.

I couldn't take the nvh from the bmr mounts so sold them and put the oem back on for now.

+1. That k-member is pretty innovative. Those aluminum blocks would also allow for swap mounts, which is a pretty cool idea. But yeah, the actual fabrication quality there could be better. Sometimes I think mig welding makes people lazy. Obviously, we don't have that option.

While I thoroughly enjoy the taste of whisky, I haven't had any since Thanksgiving of 2012. I do also enjoy the finer bottled beers but it has been close to a month since the last time I had any of that and one or two satisfies me just fine.

Uh huh... nobody said anything when BMR copied Whiteline's bushings. Nobody said anything when Jason was talking about copying those billet torque plates. But UPR makes a k-member which looks similar to BMR's and everyone loses their minds.

Anyway, you can keep ripping on UPR. We'll keep setting records and winning championships.

JUST a K-member? No, it's the Relocation Brackets, control arms, FUSE BOX COVER and dozens of other parts you've ripped off. It isn't a secret to anyone.

As for BMR "Copying" Whiteline's bushings, bull shit. Whiteline did not pioneer elastomer bushings and BMR isn't making the bushings themselves. What they have done is teamed up with SuperPro, another manufacturer of elastomer bushings to make bushings for them. Just like Prothane and Energy. The difference is that SuperPro isn't copying Whiteline's formula in making their bushings just like Prothane isn't copying Energy's bushings. There is a distinct difference with what they are doing than with what UPR does with parts.

We know which one came first and it wasn't UPR. But it's a fuse box cover, who cares about that right? I do. It's intellectual property and you've stolen it and called it your own and to add insult to injury it isn't the first part you've done that with. It's one in a LONG line of parts.
