I searched a little..But, is anyone running these..http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MTT-3007 on the street? I have them now and I will only putt around town and go on the highway once in a while, and never in rain. Anyone else? I am a little concerned about building up too much heat and damaging them..

I'm curious also as I wanted to occasionally run front runners on the street.

It was baptism by fire tonight, lol..Drove 20 miles home in the rain at highway speeds. They werent bad at all. I was careful around corners though. On the street in the rain they were absolutely fine. No steering wheel shake at all..Score!!!! I am happy that I can drive around on these though. But, I still wont corner fast..

They arent a DOT approved tire so if you do happen to get pulled over you might get harassed for running them. Personally i wouldnt roll them on the street, now the Sportsman's i would.

So they are good to go though? Thats good to hear then if so. B/c i have a chance at a set up & those front runners are the only thing stopping me from getting them. I wanted a set up that i can drive back & forth to the track on & if i had to get street tires for them it wouldnt work out to be that great of a deal

Using Front Runners on the street is a VERY bad idea. Get Sportsmen or another DOT tire. Side walls are to thin, they can't take the heat.
