Yes, they're used. New ones run around $100. They're easy to install. The hard part can be getting the stockers out of there. Undo the stock mounts, raise the engine with a jack and slip them out. If you have trouble getting them out, use a Dremel to cut the bolt off the top of the mount and then it will slide out easier.

The Prothane's do make a difference. Engine sits a lot stiffer, eliminating some of the torque that gets transfered through the driveline, i.e., making it easier to shift at WOT. At least that was my experience.

Getting ready to install a S/C and wanted my engine to sit lower. I replaced these with shorter mounts. The Prothane's are the same height as the stockers.

ahhh ok one more question....do they make a lot of noise? how is it comparable to stock noise wise

The mounts themselves are pretty much silent. Just kidding....A little bit of NVH is introduced since the engine isn't bouncing around on stock fluid filled mounts. Mainly when you start the motor. But they didn't introduce unwanted NVH. Between the Kooks, Borla Stingers and the Shaker, I can't hear/feel anything outside of that anyway.

Do you know if those shift knobs will fit a Tri-Ax shifter?
