Modifying Sportline springs

I know this is going to sound crazy lol.

I have sportline strut and springs off the car right now. I fighting the urge to put them back on, but had an idea.

Can I cut 1 turn of the coil off of the rear spring to make it sit level? or would it just ruin the spring.

Yes. And, yes.

No really, if you want to experiment use the stock spring. That way you won't junk the Sportline if you cut too much. If you don't have a set of stockers I will sell you mine for $200. :crazy:

You can cut a coil out but it will increase the spring rate about 10%.
