i've been in that spot myself and i really feel for him. to go with out his car for that long saving up and to get this in return is terrible. there have been a few guys here who i've seen get fuck by shops and i wish i could help them all.

That invoice is BS. 6.5 hrs to install a nitrous kit? 8 hrs to install gauges and pod? 8 hrs to install GT500 fuel pumps? 1 hr to install a Meziere pump, and then an additional half an hour to install a thermostat? On a motor that's going in? And the 2 hrs for the K-member?

WTF?

Something has to be off or missing. It can't be right. I'm surprised they didn't charge 1 hr to install the fuel injectors.

I am soooo glad I listened to my engine builder and went to Mike@Powerhouse it was well worth the 7-9hr drive and a over night stay in Erie PA. A couple of guys I haul coal with have also have had problems with Modular Depot and that was back in the 2v days. They keep this shit up in this economy they will be out of buisness quick. Fact here I am only 3 hrs away from Florence KY.

SUHleen, sucks to hear about your luck. I had a very similar (albeit less expensive) ordeal with a "body shop" out here last year. Hope you get it all worked out in the end.

Hell, If I lived closer to you I'd come help you with your car for free. I just charged a guy $250 to do a complete auto to 5speed swap on his '07. It even had a Hellion turbo set-up whch made it more difficult. Only took a day to do.
