Montreal Qc,
are you sure we are talking about the same pulley? The one that goes behind the Saleen Alternator bracket? If so thats good news because I already have one of your 76mm idler pulleys sitting around. It is very possibably with all that was going on at the time that I grabber the 90mm pulley instead of the 76mm one when comparing the sizes.
Yes,

I confirmed it with GI Joe.

I'm a tard then, I was in the processes of replacing another snapped belt (this one had busted on start up) when I compared them, so I was a bit distracted and irritated at the time and I probably did just grab the wrong pulley. Sorry for the trouble, and the 76mm pulley will be going on when I swap belts and S/C pulley this week. Also, thanks for looking into it for me!

How do you do that... I've been sitting here for five minutes trying to cross my finger, but I found that I always need at least 2 fingers for it to work.

Its known as senior moment. I don't think you qualify yet. There are a few day that the fingers don't work quite right. Thanks for pointing it out. :headscratch:

Gives me the willies looking at those knarled hands! Plus I count my lucky stars that I still have my left index finger after a brush with a chainsaw over the weekend.

I've got a broken finger at the moment too. I was too tired to work on the car yesterday. I don't want to work on it when I'm tired in fear of fucking up so ill see how i feel this afternoon. Ill check the timing and cut the oil filter this afternoon.

Ron, I can't see your pictures cause I am at work. However if the piece that is broken off is the piece that retains the bottom of the tensioner arm in place,it is a threaded dowel pin(threads into block, dowel pin where tensioner arm pivots.Ford part number YR3Z-6K282-AA

Thought i would add my two cents after reading this...

Sorry to hear about your troubles T Bird. Your car (up until now) has always given me hope that the CROOK Larry_H actually could make one block that worked right. How he ever became a vendor on MF's I will never know!

Here is what happened to my Larry_H Longblock:

http://www.modularfords.com/forums/showthread.php?t=117464

Larry refused to pay for anything and blamed Ford among other people.

We have a Stang member in Oman who fully paid for a built shortblock from Larry and never recieved it. He was told that Larry had to urgently leave for france to go teach Tai Kwon do and was going to be gone forever. He ripped him off completely of several thousand dollars.

If one of you went after him legally that would really be amazing and you would have our full support. If anyone knows where he lives too that would be great as I would love to go see how hot his karate skills really are face to face!!!!!!!
