Need help with mustang 3v 4.6 2007. Car started rattling at low RPMs last summer and one day died out and started throwing code for timing. I went ahead and took timing cover and valve covers off. chain on bank 2 was loose. Changed both chain, both tensioners, both guides and one of the WT sprockets (other bank had a Dorman that looked new, figure last owner did that side). Car started up and ran. Has zero codes right now but I heard the rattle again the other day and got a cam sensor code for the bank I didn't change the sprocket on. Are the sprockets failing due to a bigger issues with oil pressure (oil pressure has never read low in fact it reads a little over half on the gauge). Worth mentioning the car has always had a slight tick or knock on it and it has a roush super charger kit on it. Rattle has only and seems to only occur in low rpm 600-1200 when in first gear just rolling. Tick goes away when rpm's increase. I can keep the car from rattling out and dying if I give it a good rev it seems to let the sprocket catch and brings it back from stuttering out. This only happens when the car is already warm but the tick starts pretty early. Tick isn’t very loud though and goes away at 1000 RPM.
Not sure what to do don't want to change other sprocket only for it to be caused by low oil pressure in the sprocket.
Could the pressure be leaking out somewhere before getting to sprockets?
