What would I need to do an MT82 swap besides the obvious tranny, clutch, flywheel, pedals and wiring harness?

I've been tossing around the idea for a while for my '11 GT and I miss shifting, the auto is too boring for me.

Thanks ya'll

That's what you get for trading teams!!!! I'd say trade it in on a stick car.
but I'm not too much into Frankensteining shit.

Me neither ha. But I just put together my car perfectly and now I would be a pain to take everything off and trade it in.

Ahh decisions, decisions :popcorneat:

There are plenty of guys with mt82's who would love to trade you. Post a thread on svtp and your inbox will blow up lol. Make sure you drive the car your swapping before hand though.

you'll need a tuner and new tune or the dealer to flash a auto trans tune

I would think the harness is the same IIRC.

off the cuff - you will also need:
shifter
shifter boot
slave
slave fluid line

I see you have
'11 5.0 Stock
in your sig.

guess - that the warranty is important??? if so, this swap will likely screw that up, but that's conjecture, however would seem a easy way to a dealer to void it.

my .02 - you would be better off trading the car.

It's not stock, gotta update my sig lol.

I guess it would be a lot easier to just trade it in, instead of trying to get the manual to work properly.

I thought your car was a stick Chris? You and Coyo TT should get together and do the swap

No, I bought the auto because when I used to drive to work at 4am I just tried to concentrate on staying awake! And now that I barely drive it, I would love to have a stick again.

I have everything you need for the swap since I just did an auto conversion. Looking to unload it at a very fair price. It'll come with a Mcleod RXT and flywheel, SR shifter and Steeda shifter bracket. If interested PM me. Here's what you have to have.

Trans, shifter, crossmember, shifter bracket, clutch, flywheel and bolts, pilot bearing, slave, clutch line, master cylinder resevior, clutch/brake pedal, battery cable, PCM, and interior pieces.
