Now that the Curb weight numbers are corrected,
but the 2011 Mustang is not going to walk on the 2010 camaro, check out the numbers.

Pounds pr Horsepower
the Mustang GT eeks by with an 8.75 to Camaro 9.04

Pounds per Torque
The Camaro eeks by in the Pounds per Torque with 9.16 to the Mustang's 9.24

Horsepower to weight ratio
Tje Mustang picks up with the better ratio with 0.114 to Camaro's 0.110

Clearly it is going to come down to a drivers race for sure...
these cars are evenly matched.

I bet they go for more than 33 on the first run. Dealers are gonna expect people to show up with vaseline the first year. And I doubt they'll even give you a reach around.

IMO the Mustang will be decidedly faster IRL.

I agree. The optional MGT gearing is more aggressive than the SS's 6 speed manual gearing.

So power is close to a draw, weight and gearing favor the Mustang. I don't know which is more aerodynamic, but the 2010 Mustang has reduced drag since the 2005 redesign.
