I traded in my 2014 GT/CS 18 months ago. Had 25K miles and got 20K. They sold it a week later for 23,500. So the 27,500 price on this one seems way out of line.

There as been a big increase in 2014 Mustang GT prices since March. From very low milage examples at about $20,000 in March to at least $25,000 now. I understand mostly because of reports saying that they look more like the old classics and the track times are not all that off from the new stuff.

Around Christmas 2018 I was looking for a 13-14 gt and found that what I was looking for wasn’t much cheaper than an s550 would be so I got an s550. Maybe they’re going back up in price because people started realizing there isn’t much difference between the power output of the two.

That said, I love the look of either a red or white 11-12 gt with 15+ gt pp1 wheels.

I don't get it. Thats a base model, cloth seats, 4 gauge cluster etc, and is probably 7 years old. I remember when the base GT's were heavily discounted, this probably sold for that price NEW. How is Caravana in business? does anyone buy these?

Yes in deed. It's the 4th year of the Gen 1 Coyote and many now have over 100,000 miles. Junkyards are asking $7000 for a the pullout assembly with 78,000 miles. No ticks with a full motion VCT from a low of 1000rpm to a high of 6750RPM. Then comes along next generation with restricted VCT but a few more HP with lots of weight gain and sing along ticks here and there. Ford out did them selves with 17 lbs fiber wheels for $17,000 that seem not only not to hold up at the track but actually seem to perform like a aluminum flywheel on drag day. So a 2014 Base Mustang GT with a light weight cluster and wheels comes in at 3460 lbs and even the state agrees with this on the owners card. Your $53,000 Gen 3 with a tick is pushing 4000 lbs and the owners card says 4110.

Their stock has gone from $29 to $259 in 9 months. $10K then, worth $80K today.

So, I had a feeling I'd get caca for those lights... I prefer to think they are GT 40ish.
Low miles, 1 owner, the inside still has new car smell, and can I say, the best color offered.
Got a check for 23400, which was 2k more than the closest online offer.

That car will be listed for $28,500 or more cloth seats or not.

For those that have traded or purchased from them, how was the experience?

I'm looking to trade my 14 base GT for a 13-14 GT500. Carvana occasionally has them, and they've already offered me $17.6k for my GT with 75k miles, which I believe is more than most dealers will give me. This would be ideal for me since I'm likely going to have to travel several hundred miles otherwise, and you never know what you're going to get when you show up at some of these small dealers that post on autotrader etc.

Purchasing a $40-50k car online without seeing it in person and driving it makes me nervous, but from what I've seen they do a pretty good job.

Really, what can you tell from seeing a car in person over very good photos and a mechanical inspection. I'm sure carvana has a free refusal policy. Most GT500's are cream puffs with no miles, anyway

Free 7 day GT500 rental.

I'd definitely take that for a new one. A lifetime of bagging!
