Thought someone here may appreciate hearing the different exhaust setups I have tried this year.

First - Pypes LTs, H-pipe, Mac Axle Backs, Detroit Rocker, No Cats

Sounded badass, but made everything in the car rattle and was just way to loud.

Second - Pypes LTs, H-pipe, Pypes m80's, Mac Axle Backs, Detroit Rocker, No Cats

Sounded very good. Lower tone, not raspy, loud when you got on it, but not rude loud (well not to me).

Third - Pypes LTs, H-pipe, Pypes m80's, Stock mufflers, Detroit Rocker, No Cats

Very quiet, almost like stock expect the tune/rhythm sounds awesome. This is my sleeper setup.

Also, after changing these around so much I've figured out how to do in no more than 20 minutes. Instead of removing the axle back hangers, I just disconnect the over the axle pipes from the H pipe. This allows you slide the over axle pipes forward, pulling them off the axle backs. You then have enough room to just slide the axle backs out of their hangers. Of course you have to either jack up the rear end of drive up on ramps, I do the latter.

Hope this helps someone.

Not sure if it's the camera or something, but they all sound raspy as hell.

I'm glad I am not the only one with exhaust issues. So far I have had:

Magnaflow Magna pac
Macs,
MMS Mac (baffeled differently than stock macs)
FRP GTA's x2
Borla S types
FRP Stingers

Next on the list is a set of KR's?

Additionally I have tried shorty with and with out cats (catless is the way to go),

Pypes Lt with kooks catted x pipe, pypes off road x pipe and pypes off road H pipe.

Current setup is Pypes LT's, pypes off road H pipe and FRP GTA's. I have some video that I will up load when I can figure out what is wrong with the software to recognize my video files. I can play them but I can't save them to upload? I'll get it figured out and load everything up that I have.

So far I like the current setup the most. I think the ideal would be some muffler just a tad louder than the stockers.

Guys, no apologies necessary, it did sound awesome. If this wasn't my DD I would keep it that way. My HOA wouldn't like me.

Bmr, dude I know what youve been through. The first vid sounded just like mine after LTs and cams, H pipe, HF cats and spintech mufflers. Way too freaking loud.
Second one is where mine is at now. LTs, H pipe, cherry bombs, m80s and flowmasters AT. I think my blower has blown out all the fiberglass is my resonators cause my car is louder now then it was after installing the resonators. I have been told my exhaust has been "seasoned" by the blower! LOL

I like all of them personally but know, first one is too loud for a DD and the next two are just about taste. Your car is all muscle..........winning!!!

I think most of us have been through the exhaust nonsense..... Ive been through 2 sets of mufflers and a bunch of different piping choices lol Nothing worse then changing it not to like it anymore haha.... OP, I have to say the first is the best followed by the second....

My plan is to go back to number 2 after I get my 4.10s installed. Reasoning is that I should only be loud when I'm actually taking off fast versus being loud all the time like I am now.
