Words are hard, okay?

To the guy that suggested hot rods...why? So many better cams out there that will actually gain power which seems to be the point of this possible build. They do sound fantastic however. If you do gears, get them Microblue coated.

Really? Hot Rods are consistent 330rwhp mods when combined with long tubes, a cai, and tune. They work very well.

They gain power provided the tune is correct. In fact, they were originally developed by Ford Racing for racing in the "Rough Rider" off road truck series.

Any updates on NA builds? Im looking for what upgrades to go with on my 08. Got my 3v back in my car after getting the heads shaved and bottom end re-done. Now its running 12.5.1 compression and I'm still trying to break it in. Im wondering if i fucked up in doing so, as i did not want to mess with boost. I know i wont make big power.

k&n cai, steeda udp, frpp shorty headers, stock/oem h-pipe with cats, frpp gta axle back, 4.10's, 93 dyno tune (stock heads, stock cams, stock intake manifold, stock throttle body) - with the benefit of sticky track and excellent air

I think you said in a different post you had a full adjustable suspension set up as well. You could probably pull a 1.65-1.70 60' with just aftermarket LCAs and sticky tires but more weight transfer can't hurt.

How are you calculating 12.5 for a compression ratio?

I've gone 12.3@110, 7.85@87, 1.66 ft in my car.

JLT, tb, headers, 4.10's. Suspension work and weight reduction, on an ET Pro. Looking to improve on that this weekend in the 1/8th. Switching to a bias ply as well (Mickey 3055s).

Car dynod 326/339. 34 degrees of total timing. Trying to crack 11.8x in the 1/4 with just bolt ons. But i dont know if it has the steam to do it. Car feels like its losing a lot on the big end.

What makes you say that it's losing steam up top? 4.10s should pull well throughout the 1/4 mile.

what RPM do you cross the stripe at (1/8 or 1/4) with the 6060 trans?

4.10's are nice, 4.56's are better (n/a) :party52:

I put down 329rwhp/350rwtq (stock heads, stock cams, stock throttle body, stock intake manifold, k&n cai, frpp shorty headers, OEM h-pipe with cats, frpp gta mufflers, steeda UDP, steeda CMDP, 4.10's, 93 dyno tune by JPC racing). Dyno'd on warm/muggy day, and JPC's dyno can be a bit stingy...

Yes. My tuner even questioned it so i pulled a valve cover to verify.

I did tell him to get everything he can out of it lol

That's impressive. Are you running a full drag suspension Lindertw?
