Need a new floor jack...

And yes, I used the search function first... 17+ pages of NO FLOOR JACK THREADS...

So...

My third floor jack in a row this year has called it quits. (All over ten years old, they served me well). And I am in the market for new floor jack with a balance between price and function.

What do you use? What do you want to get? I am open to suggestions.

I would like to buy one jack, if possible, for the lower Mustang on the 4x4 Tahoe we own.

Most floor jacks are the same Chinese junk. Basically the only way the differ is if they have a nice function like "speedy lift" where it only takes a couple pumps to get to a higher lifting point or if they can get lower like the one you have linked here. Unless you wanna go $500+ for a quality american made one that will last a hobbyist a couple decades.

I got mine, a Pittsburg low-profile steel unit, from Harbor Freight, and it works great, especially for the ~$75 it cost.
It's heavy as fk, about 75 lbs, but like I said, it works great

+1 on the good ole Hazard Frought aluminum low profile racing jack. It's light, it fits under my lowered car (barely) and it's cheap. Get your self a 20% off coupon, catch it on sale, and you'll have your self a great jack for around $60-70 bucks. Mine has done well for me for several years now.

I've been contemplating this one, the 2 ton Omega, as it's the only one that'll reach under the Corvettes:

X3 on the HF one. It will still slide straight in from the front and rear and lift the while front or rear end pretty high even with being lowered.
