Need some help guys....

Hey guys, I've been looking for a set of GT500 mufflers for my 2013 GT. I finally found some for a great price last night on ebay. 160.00$ A steal right? Well I was so excited at the price and looking up the part number that I didn't think to read the description. I basically bought them without looking at it. I have a concern.

IT It says that something "fell into one muffler" so it rattles obviously i need to get it out. I am concerned if it is something inside thats broken.... How could it be affected? Also, It stated two of the hanger were cut. Is that an issue? Can I reuse my hangers, and not worry about it? Im scared that I got too happy and bought a crap product... Please any info will be awesome. I bought them for a christmas present, and want them on the car before xmas day.

I hve heard they sound amazing cant believe i bought them and didn't read the damn thing... I was just so excited. I hear a local muffler shop can re weld hangers on so..... Idk My buddy is going to powder coat the tips black too since everything on the car is black

most muffler shops weld hangers on after installing mufflers that are "weld ins" so hanger is NOT an issue. just FYI

I have had all different manufacturers mufflers installed on mine over the years.
Take it to a muffler shop and they will add the correct hangers as needed.

I can't find a picture of a open GT500 muffler but I'd surmise it's similar to a OE GT, which are similar to the OE muffler on my 2010 ..

There's not much that can break in them ... However,, I blew the little crossover pipe (the one between the center and most rear chamber) out of my passenger side muffler when I had a massive fuel backfire and it rattled pretty dang' good.

Hopefully that isn't the problem as the only way to fix that is to cut the muffler open.
