The rst rating on am is 800hp. I have one going in my car and my numbers are in my sig. I asked someone if the aluminum ds was worth the cash and they said it could be better spent else where so thats what i did.

Their listed rating is 800HP for RST, 1000HP for RXT.

Correct, I will be at 600RWHP for a while but I plan to make 700RWHP or more later on, hence why I said I wouldn't want to upgrade/change it again.

It could be spent somewhere else like you did but I had one before and really noticed a difference. Love you car btw

Yeah, same here. That's why I had to choose between one.
Sweet, I would love a BMR K-Member. Be sure to post pics when installed.

You will lose about the same amount of weight between the two, only difference being price and the rotational mass.

Ohhhh, yeah! And I'm dating Elisha Cuthbert lol

How much more? I didn't know. I was just going of McLeod's rating.

Thanks Bruce!

All I can tell you is I had one with 699rwhp and it didn't slip during wot pulls in the higher gears. I suppose that's pretty close to the 800hp rating now that I think about it. 699 / .85 = 822.

Bruce,
I'm with you. The RST is the one I'll go to when I'm at that point. I'm having trouble deciding on a steel or aluminum flywheel, though. Not sure the differences other than weight and if weight is the sole factor, I'll go with aluminum to save the rotational mass.
