Hello all!! I just purchases a new 07 mustang GT about 2 months ago and have been loving it. I have wanted a S197 mustang for awhile and saw this on the side of the road and less than two days later it was in my driveway. It has 125k miles, manual(first timer), I do believe its a premium since it has leather seats and shaker500.

I already bought a CAI and tune from unleashed tuning. I am going to do wheels and tires in a few months. Then either suspension if brakes do not need to be replaced relatively soon. I do plan on tracking this car a little bit so I want it to be capable.

I really love the look of the chrome rims so I am going to stick with chrome on the rims and around the car since I think it looks really good with the white stripes.

Nice indeed. I think chrome rims on a red S197 look amazing, but then that was one of the reasons I bought mine more than 10 years ago.

Beautiful! Welcome.

If the brakes are original, you'll probably want a brake job. I upgraded with braided stainless steel lines, and I'm happy I did. I also upgraded to 2011 front rotors and brackets, and I'm happy w/ that too. https://www.s197forum.com/threads/switching-to-2011-brakes.136216/page-2

After 100k miles the brakes still worked fine, but they definitely took extra work due to age.
