I went to the track yesterday, great conditions, low 50 temps, dry and nice prep.

On my first pass of the day, after letting the car cool off for 2+ hours I pulled up to the line did my burn out and ripped off a pass,

Get back to the starting area and ask a guy I know did u see what I ran, he tells me 12.0, I reply STFU, no way I didn't believe him, he said you ran after Travis right, yes I did I said, then he repeats and says 12.0, so I go and get the slip and sho nuff!!!

new best:

60" 1.69
1/4 - 12.05
mph - 115.7

Improved my bet by nearly .3! I was so psyched!!! Here's a in car vid of that pass and two later passes I made. I was told to slow it down or go home....... since I had to leave to make a 110 mile trip to a concert anyway I left after only 4 passes. I hope to have a overhead view of the 12.05 in a day or two.

In Car 12.05

12.25

12.30

Big thanks to Ron for the last two vids.... and for him not being a wussy and running his car 9 rear studs and all

LOL.. no Don... the first pass the conditions were perfect, cooler temps, car had 2+ hours of cooling time and I made the second pass of the day on the track so it dead hooked!

True... and those are the months we wait for. The air is best here from Dec through April. Those are also the rainy season, so we always have to worry about rainouts then too.
