Long story lol but it goes like this. Since getting the car back in May I've had headache after headache when it comes to the front drive belt system. None of my pulleys were misaligned, all of the pulleys were recently replaced, belt was replaced and I've snapped my second tensioner in half, this one being an OEM one. So I took the blower off, put the stock injectors and air box back on and reloaded the stock tune for now until I figure out what I want to do. Chances are I'm gonna sell the Vortech and either go with a 100 shot and fix my rear suspension, or go with a turbo kit.

I'm just tired of the issues, it seemed like every 2 weeks something else would pop up.

EDIT: Also strangely enough, car isn't really slower until I hit like 75. But the stall converter and gears are responsible for that lmao.

I might go. I did just take my blower off though, so nothing to look at under the hood lol (and boost guage is still hooked up lmao) But I might try to make it.

We ended up with 20 people sitting inside to eat, 16 cars outside at one point, I think 14 were out there when we were sitting down.

Our best turnout yet.

Next Monday we're meeting at Hooters on Rt1 in Saugus

Figured I'd post this here for visibility sake. Offer stands for anyone on the forum local to MA $2600 if you are local $2900 shipped.

As some of you may know I've decided to go another route with my car(Nitrous) So I'm trying to sell my Vortech setup. It got me to 404rwhp /360rwtq on a relatively safe tune with 6.5psi.

Because I like you guys here I am willing to part ways with the kit for a special price if it goes to another local Mustang enthusiast. At $2600 it's a steal for the entire setup. Everyone else its $2800 local or $2900 shipped. That's including injectors too. Now it does need a few things to make it complete.

I'd recommend a replacement hardware pack with all the required hardware to mount the main bracket since I think my installer cut a few corners and forgot to install a few bolts/spacers. Beyond that you will need a belt and a fuel pump solution like a boost-a-pump or what I did was the S&H Performance Stage 1 kit for $275 which included a new drop in fuel hat and wiring upgrade.

I think it's a pretty solid price, you may spend a few hundred to make it complete but you will get a nice power boost. Also if you add a CX Racing intercooler kit for the S197 and a smaller pulley(3.8" installed currently) you can be running 500rwhp reliably.

But the only reason I'm selling is I need to fix a few things on the car(rear suspension mainly) so I figured if I sell this and get a 100-125 shot I'll have a fixed car and the same if not a little more power.

:beer:went to MPE racing, spent some cash:beer:

What'd you have done?

I'm thinking I may go there to get a second opinion on my tune.
I went to Performance Dyno in NH yesterday and I dyno'd at 390 RWHP, 370 RWTQ but he said he wouldn't make any tune changes since it was pretty much maxed out on timing.
However, he had me scheduled at 3:30 and another appointment scheduled for 4PM so I'm wondering if I just got broomed for his other customer

Sweet. The LCA's are easy to do, the shifter a bit harder.

I'm getting ready to head out to Danvers, the car show at Liberty Tree Mall that's there every Wed.

Hope some of you fockers will swing by :D

Pete is'nt some one who would blow you off just to make a buck. He has worked my tune a few times to get it where it is optimised for power and safety. I am hitting 404/395 with the M90 on an A/T. Prior to the latest revision, I was at 375/360 with the fuel pump duty cycle maxed out. A smaller pulley and BAP later, I am at my current numbers. Pete has always been a great tuner to deal with...

Honestly, I'm quite happy with the numbers I got, and I'd rather be safe than have a tune that's borderline unsafe that might hurt the motor.
All I've heard from a bunch of people about Pete is that he won't ever tune a car to be unsafe. If anything, he'll back off the tune from where it's at if he thinks it will be a more reliable combo.

So, ... who knows?
I don't think I'll get dyno'd again anytime soon ... the car goes very well, it handles awesome, I'm very happy with it as it sits, I don't think I'll be doing anything else to it for a while.

Agreed. I don't think he would have blown you off either. Thats how he makes his money so it doesn't really make sense that if you needed it he wouldn't tune your car.

Just orded a couple new claps for my mid-pipe. Going to swap them out and try to adjust the pipe so its not hitting the panhard brace... as soon as my finger isn't broken that is.

You should just buy my headers, then all your problems will go away.

We do need to meetup to swap exterior parts though

Ummmm.... what are your next group of days off?

We will need a set of ramps to get to the front signals, but it should only take an hour tops for the swapping.

I have my wooden ramps too.
