Hi everyone,
I'm over on mustangforums.com but after looking through these forums and personally loving the s197 more than all other generations, I thought that it was only a logical choice to join.
I received this pony brand new as a graduation gift from high school (a very humbling experience). I first had a copper 1998 Ford Ranger XLT with an inline 4 with a 5 speed manual trans and manual windows (but leather seats!). I took care of her and she was always waxed and shined. Over the past 5 years, through saving from working in high school and my current internship, and through small mods received as Christmas gifts, I've put way too much money into her.
I'll be graduating (unless Heat Transfer gets the better of me this semester) in December of this year with a mechanical engineering degree. If I get a job, the first thing I'll be doing is selling my pony and buying a used 5.0 with less than 30,000k on the clock.
Major mods that you can't see: Steeda CAI w/ 87 street, 87 performance, and 93 race tunes from Bama, Flowmaster exhaust (straight pipes from the cats back to the mufflers, no x or h mid), Eibach pro springs, Tokico HP series dampers, and a pioneer head unit and 4 pioneer speakers.
