Hey guys my names David and im from Vancouver BC Canada. Im 17 years old and just yesterday picked up a black 2005 GT 5 speed with 88,000 miles on the odo. The only other cars ive ever owned have been Crown Victoria police interceptors (Ive had 3) since it was the cheapest way to the closest thing to a mustang (Same engine just in the Vic its 2v rather than 3v etc). But basicaly this ment ive never drove standard before. Ive tried standard on a GT500 but not really for a long period of time. I was surprised that i actually picked up on it quite quickly, driving the car home, then across town to visit family for christmas. I plan on replacing the snow tires with staggerd bullitts deleting the rear spoiler, adding a bullitt grille, doing a full suspension upgrade and adding a short throw shifter and a few bolt ons to the engine along with a tune. Id like to set it up in time for this season road racing at misson raceway. But anyways talking done here is a pic of the car and a pic of my vic.

I love Grandville Ave at night.

Welcome, I've spent a lot of time at Mission.

Thanks! Yea I ran the Vic all summer in the 1/4. Ran a 15.6 all day. I thought about supercharging the Vic but mashing the pedal down going in a straight line might get boring, so id like to build something that can take those corners!

Welcome and nice upgrade on the car you gonna keep the crown Vic as a daily driver ?

Sent from your moms phone
Thanks! Yes I am keeping it. It is the perfect daily driver. Sure it only gets 14 mpg, but everything it does makes up for it. Its low maintanence, cheap to fix, safe, people dont tailgate you, people move over in the fast lane, i can park it in a bad neighborhood and noone will touch it, it goes 140 mph (verified by me lol) theres tons of space, i can park it anywhere at school, i can leave it in a loading zone in downtown Vancouver for hours and noone will tow it (verified again by me lol) and the list goes on. Oh and it was $2600!
