New guy from MS...Help me pick a car!!

Hey whats up guys, my name is Shawn and Im from the great state of Mississippi. Im a newb here but Im on all the other mustangs forums. I attend the great University of Southern Mississippi in hattiesburg where im majoring in Criminal Justice and a minor in psychology. I recently just sold my 03 zinc yellow cobra which put down 512hp and was tuned by XXX. Im up in the air with what to buy next. I have a good friend who has a 2000 gt with gt500 setup with a 76MP for sale, but whats holding me back from getting it is it has a c4 tranny and I need a decent daily driver.I have found 2 s-197 cars that i really like but cant pick which i should try to get....Can yall help me out?

Welcome.

Depending on things, if you plan to build that car then #1, if you want some already built then #3.

Thanks, the only thing that turns me away from the 2000 is the c4 trans and I will be daily driving the car....I could change it to a 4r70 or a t-56 but they would have to be built to handle the power and im not sure how much power the stock gt500 motor will take....
The other car is a 5 speed, and really want a auto...its gonna be slowwww also which in time it would be getting a on3 turbo kit put on it....
I want more than 500 to the wheels being my last car made that to the wheels and it was a blast to drive...the S-197 is gonna be maxed out at 450-490 pushing it....

I would probably go for number one its your best bet and as far as mods a great starting point and you can build it to your own taste as you go, as for number 2 if you get it Id ditch the slps they sound good alone but with the off road x pipe and everything they sound ungodly loud and not a good loud almost diesel loud, Id say car number one is your best bet and seems like a good price for the mods and miles on it
