Hi all, Im new to the board and to mustangs, Just picked up an 09 Vista blue Gt and love it. It does need a lot more work than I thought in order to keep up on the Autobahn (suspension / aerodynamic wise) only question is, what is up with the hood shake at 100 mph? it is really nerve wrecking!!

Well, I hope with some Steeda goodies she will be a blast to drive 120 plus daily :)

as soon as I take some pics, I will post them up

Investment in Hood pins is a must if you wish to drive over the speed limit.I have been told the Shelby's actually lost there hoods in testing and that was one reason tey put the vents in there hoods that and the extra heat. The new KR's come with twist look pins now to avoid the hood seperation issue. I think all the V8 mustangs should have the hood pins.

welcome,

as for the hood shake, the stops in the engine bay need to be adjusted, should get rid of the shake.

but, hood pins are a good addition if your lucky enough to enjoy those Autobahn speeds daily

best thing for the AB is... a 6 speed! 5 gears is not enough around here.

Welcome!! if you get the Shelby hood pins dont use the cables, as said above they rust and will scratch the paint..No more hood shake at all after the pins and some adjustments..
