Had some Pypes M80s thrown on about a month ago. A week ago I got my off road pipes for my x-pipe installed and got a video for you all along with a question. I knew before I got the off road pipes that it would get raspy and loud, just didn't expect this much rasp after hearing other o/r set ups in person.
So, if I throw on a high flow cat (which I will need for emission time swaps anyway) can I reduce/remove the rasp while keeping most of the volume? Or would an H mid pipe be a better selection? I just worry that the rasp will be replaced by some other obnoxious sound instead of really solving the issue.
As a side note, I love the sound, it's exactly what I wanted, but the rasp is killing my vibe on decent acceleration.
And now, a video for you all to enjoy (hopefully, if I can embed properly. Lol):
