Took the car back out after installing the Boss intake. My goal was to maintain the same 60' time and gain 2MPH in the 1/4 mile. I achieved said goal.

Second pass of the evening with a D/A of ~2,300' above SL. No real record setting expectations.

Results:
[email protected]

This corrects to a [email protected] at SL.

Mods to the car are:

Pypes full exhaust
Circle D 5C converter
3.31 rear gear
Boss manifold
Airaid CAI
UCA, mount , LCA's and relo mounts along with sway bar relo. Stock shocks and springs.
Alum. D/S
Corbeau driver seat
Tune
Tires/Wheels
Lower radiator support
D/S loop
Rear seat delete <---not much to be had for weight savings

Track Nazi's were not happy that the car had no roll bar. Next outing in the Fall will be with said roll-bar, shooting for 10's N/A.

Very happy with the move to the Boss intake and special thanks to kdanner for his work on the tune. Not possible without him.

I should mention we were fighting a 20MPH cross wind all evening......

Airaid on the left and stock on the right. Track went away after 2 runs as evident in the 60' times.

Great run,how is your converter on the street?

Very streetable. Not a hindrance in the slightest. From a stop you have to push the go pedal just a bit more than stock but once in second, it locks and drives like stock.

You don't use the same tune for street and race, do you?

Damn that thing runs hella strong. I got my new pb last weekend at MIR with really good air and that is really low altitude. I had a 7.0xx 1/8 at over a 100 where you were 4mph slower and you managed to come back with 1mph higher on the big end. Very impressive.

Thanks guys! I am still running on a high from these results. On the Camaro owners, they have made comments such as:

"lier"
"you have tinted windows...you must be hiding something..."
"your car is gutted....."
"but you have slicks and skinnies....."
"where is your power adder....."

The list goes on and on. My response has always been, we make believers out of skeptics every time we go out and run. :)

We filmed a ZR1 and a CTS-V coupe running on the same night....12.4 and 13.1 respectively.

I know a guy with a ZR1. A "friend of a friend".

He has a used ZR1. They are impressive when driven properly...

This was his first time out with the car and very little road time since he got it.. Amazing how that magnetic ride suspension reacts

The guy filmed was on street tires just tearing the track up as was evident in the video. That is not a car to take to the strip on stock tires. The CTS-V, however, didn't appear to have any real traction issues post launch. 13.1@113 would put me in a selling mode.

My wife's previous 2010 GT500, bone stock on the stock Goodyear RSA's, was able to squeeze out a 12.8@114. I couldn't hammer it until 3rd.
