I just installed the new Race Stars. I live close to Beefcake and he threw them up for sale on the local Mustang forum. He cut me an incredible deal for the entire wheel/tire combo he ran on his Boss and even delivered them to my house. The wheels are basically new with only a couple hundred miles on them.

I wanted to get away from swapping a full set of wheels when I race and these are a nice compromise. The fronts are 17 by 7 with 215/55 Coopers. They weigh 43 lbs each. My 15 by 3.75 Race Stars with Nexxen 165/80's weight just over 30 lbs each.

Both of these are compared to my street wheels that weight 59lbs each. So in my case I will just run the fronts all the time and only swap rears when racing.

This will now be my new daily wheels and I will be ordering a set of matching 15 by 10's off Beefcake soon for the track.

Ugh....man I really really like that setup. That looks sooooo nice. I am really considering these for a track setup but with skinnies in the front. Great job man. :beerdrink:

Thanks, the new Race Star quality is much better than the old ones. Also not having to screw with those off set washers is great.

Admittedly I am not generally a fan of the "big and littles" set up on these cars, but I LIKE the way this looks. Nice work.

Thanks, The look is perfect for my car. I want it to look aggressive, but not a full race look.

I am pretty sure the rears are 18 by 10.5 and have a Nitto NT05R 305/45 Drag radial on them.

We're heading to Milan on November 9th, if ya try out the new wheels.

I want to try to make that. I doubt the rears ever see the track though.

If the weather is nice I will drive my junk up to Milan.

That looks good and is light...great combo

Thanks, the fronts are a little heavier than skinnies but overall a decent compromize for when I am taking it on a long drive to race.
