I hit our local 1/8 mile track tonight, it's Called Old Dominion Speedway,
It's located in Manassas, VA It was built in 1952 and it one of the oldest tracks on the east coast. Anyway, the test and tune nights are less than perfect, we get a ton of imports backing up into the water box then draging their rear tires soaking wet down the track. this creates a poor surface for us rear wheel drive cars when we run right after them. anyway
I was able to 3 consistant 1.810, 1.812 and 1.813 60' times with 2 year old BFG Drag Radials that have over 200 passes on them. (They look like slicks) LOL...
The poor track prep is preventing me from foot brakeing over 2500 rpm, the tires break loose at the line. I had 3 runs all 8.071, 8.058 and 8.034
I did not break into the 7.9 range but I hope to soon, also my Trap speeds seems a bit low since I have the TCI 3500 TC..
