The BGG Performance CAI shield replaces the JLT,GMS, and C&L shields and is designed to work with the Turbo Horsepower Single turbo kits. It seals against the stock hood and most aftermarket hood to draw cold air from the fender and front grill. We have kits for all superchargers. Designed to help reduce supercharger belt slip on cars running smaller supercharger pulleys. In addition to color instructions, each kit includes all pulleys, hardware, a new belt, color instructions and an optional supercharger pulley in your choice of sizes. Solid billet tensioners for 03-04 Cobra and 05+ Mustang GT. Pulley accommodates 8 rib belts. We have seen 1.5 psi increase on boosted cars when used in conjunction with 8 rib kits and this tensioner.
Gripper Plate™. Designed to reduce belt slip on: 2.2, 2.3, 2.6, and 2.8 Kenne Bell Mustang GT 1996 to 2004. On our 600 rwhp Kenne Bell car the belt slipped from 5000-6500 rpms. We could see it on the dyno at WOT. The car actually lost 2# boost.
With the Gripper Plate™ the car not only held boost but also actually picked up 1 additional pound of boost between 5500 and 6500.
