A little unrelated, because I don't have a Mustang anymore (for now), but I do have a Convertible...

Are you convertible guys getting away with sneaking in some sub-legal times? Obviously the 'official' ruling is 13.49 for convertibles. My C5 6-speed did 13.0s bone stock with drag radials on it. They didn't say anything to me. A couple weeks ago I ran a few 11.90s after a cam and longtube install, and they still never said a word. Couple years ago, my buddy's dad got the boot after one 12-sec and one 11-sec pass in his C5 convertible. Guess there's some inconsistenty.

It appears to depend on the track/tech. My local track seems to be very easy going. I'm pretty sure I see vert's all the time running faster then 13.49 with no roll.

At my track, it depends on the event. If it's an NHRA sponsored event, they strictly stick to the NHRA rules. If it's a non-NHRA event, they loosen up a bit on the rules. I don't normally run NHRA events, and I've been running low-mid 10's all year without even a glance. However, earlier this year I ran in a club race during a Summit ET night (NHRA event), and they made it clear I had to dial in 11.50 or slower.
