No problem but a PIA to clean up. The diference in compression is not enough to notice in most situations.
Water - air dry
Oil - Have fun
Adder - You will not be able to weld on caps with water in the tube.
You can - Weld on a cap with a threaded hole in it for an adaptor then add compressed water or thread the tube & cap it.
I know - I just set of multiple lights in some peoples heads & saved multiple hours of R&D for thin walled material. I gota start charging commission. No sources when I had to figure this SHT out - I tried the sand idea because that is what I heard.
That rumor must have been started by someone. He / She is stile laughing in thier grave at suckers like us.
