nitrous and two step???

How can I make my nitrous and two step work together. wont it activate if I push the throttle to the floor at the line when on the two step? can I get a controller that will lock the nitrous out in first gear on a manual transmission, or does that work only with automatic transmissions. I dont want to have to activate the nitrous with a micro-switch.

I have a window switch. I set the activation of the nitrous 100 RPM above the launch RPM of my 2 step. Example: Launch RPM - 4000 RPM, Nitrous Activation - 4100 RPM. Or you can set it to skip 1st gear and start spraying in 2nd gear for whatever RPM you want to activate it.

i dont know how you can tell the rpm switch not to arm in first gear if it is seeing the designated RPM, unless you trigger the rpm switch with another switch that works off of transmission linkage or something. if you use a nitrous controller, you can set it to activate at a designated TIME after the 2-step releases...which you could choose a time that you know the car is in 2nd gear. none the less wire it all downstream of a wide open throttle switch always for safety.

It is possible with the Zex window switch I use . This is off their website:

My car is a manual. The switch counts the number of times you go past the deactivation RPM point. You set the switch to how many times you want it to do that before spraying. For example: 0-sprays in first gear, 1-sprays in 2nd gear, 2-sprays in 3rd gear, etc.

Another option is to shell out for a 'good' controller and then you can simply use delay. A couple practice runs and you'll have a good idea how many seconds from when you floor the 2 step till you launch. You could set up with a a few second delay to come in exactly when you want it at all rpm ranges...
