your right , new camaro's suck. micro edge controller, will look up, how do you set yours to spray? and what times you run?

I am twin turbo on stock internals lol... I had a brand x kit with the micro edge was going to shoot a 125 shot but sold it to a buddy the micro edge is a quality piece if you hook it up right... Built in window switch, wot switch, lean cut and other great features I am going to spray a little with my new block and will use the micro edge....

So which would you rather drive every day? A S197 or a 02 Camaro with 100,000 miles on it that makes more moans and groans than the $10 hook on the corner.

If you just want to go fast, buy some turd or spend the money on a nice car to make go fast.

i would rather drive something that i can spray 100 shot of n2o on and not have people telling me im going to break everything on the car. Not my fault GM builds cars from the factory that have stronger internals than a ford. You are right about them being noisy though and my stang doesnt make any noise.

your not going to break shit with a 100 shot, I have a Whipple 550hp and under full factory warranty still. they wouldn't warranty it for that much power if shit was going to break. I wouldn't worry bud just drive it you will be fine.

LSX motors better be able to handle shit like that they have had them for 12 fucking years now. Not our fault GM took a motor that they put in a 50k$+ car and threw it into a 30k$ car to make a poor mans race car. If Ford threw the GT500 motor into our cars we would be golden too.

nick a good question for you, is there supposed to be a gasket with the plate? i installed a new ford gasket in factory location and bought a second one the put in front of the plate where it meets the throttle body but it wouldnt fit.

Gasket, no. O-ring, yes. It weaves around the face of the plate so that the throttle body seals against it.

Just didn't think it would be a good idea to use the zex controller with a plate system since it is designed to spray through a nozzle. It adjusts the fuel/nitrous based on pressure too so you might not get as good as atomization with a plate? I guess I just don't see why you wouldn't go ahead and use a HSW controller.

Gotcha. Yea, no problems what so ever with running a plate with a zex box. Matter of fact, if you were to pop one of them open you'll be surprised to find 2 solenoids and a TPS switch. That's it. As far as adjusting fuel and nitrous based on pressure, that's simply a marketing gimmick. If you were to call and ask how its done they would tell you that as the nitrous flows past the fuel port on the tip of the nozzle as its entering the intake manifold it generates a vacuum on the fuel side. As nitrous pressure increases as does the vacuum and vice versa. Would you be surprised if I told you that just about every nozzle and plate on the market today does the very same thing? Or that the vacuum is so negligible that it hardly makes a difference? And if you were to put it to the test like the original poster did, you'll find that a/f is a mess when bottle pressure isn't within the mfg's preset window and power generation suffers.

Good info. I assumed the Zex unit adjusted the solenoid's opening depending on the amount of pressure somehow. Nice marketing gimmick Comp. :321:
