Oh ok, yea thats why I normally put them at the bottle. Easier to tuck it out of the way that way.

You did a great job. Looking forward to seeing the results.

Well, Finally got some dyno time. This was actually my first time on a dyno, pretty fun.

I attached a PDF that shows the 4 pulls:

1: All stock, stock tune. Did have O/R H pipe installed but no tune for it.
2: All Motor w/bolt ons and tune for bolt ons.
3: All motor w/bolt ons running on nitrous 100 shot tune, not spraying.
4: Bolt ons running on nitrous 100 shot tune, spraying nitrous.

Like stated above, best baseline I could get was stock with the exception of the off road mid pipe that I was not taking off just for the sake of exact stock HP numbers.

After that one, all runs had the off road H pipe and JLT CAI installed, those are the only bolt-ons I have affecting HP numbers. All tunes were done by TORQ.

Shop was having printer issues so there are two dyno graphs for each pull, one portrait and one landscape with more details (landscape) on it but not showing AFR.

I also data logged during all pulls except for the one on the nitrous tune while not spraying. I inserted graphs to show the timing during the actual pulls.

For those too lazy to open the attachment here are the results, referencing numbers above:

1: 391 HP / 374 TQ
2: 407 HP / 392 TQ
3: 380 HP / 380 TQ
4: 503 HP / 542 TQ

All in all I was pleased. For less than $2K in nitrous and bolt ons you can break 500 RWHP.

EDIT: Realized I flip flopped the stock and nitrous tune w/no spray charts. Tune for nitrous w/no spray actually took me DOWN 11 HP from stock! My timing at stock tuning seems pretty good...

On a side note (plug) I'm going the turbo route, so ALL of this stuff (mid pipe, JLT intake and nitrous outlet plate kit w/LOTS of accessories) will be up for grabs here in a week or so.

On ANOTHER side note, I'll be doing the install of the Hellion turbo myself and will honestly post up my opinions of fitment, quality, etc.

Nice data

On the Nitrous tune, is the car still in closed loop while spraying?

Hey, a local guy! (I live in Palestine, go to Tyler for school.)

Those are some sick numbers for a 100-shot! I can't wait until I can afford a new 5.0.

Thanks man! You should go ahead and pick up the nitrous kit from me so you're ready the day you get the car ;)

123 Horsepower and 162 Torque is not a bad gain for a 100 hp pills. She loved the bottle. Throw the 150 pills in it and she will be a beast!

You know that every turbo kit needs a nitrous kit right? lol
