New parts on old junk!
I posted here awhile back that I had picked up a set of '24-25 Performance Pack wheel and tire takeoffs for my car. I was putting the front wheels on and was having difficulty getting them seated against the face of the rotor, and then the hub dust cap pushed the center cap out.
So, apparently, on the '24-25 Mustangs, Ford used a much smaller hub dust cap than what we have on our cars (EDIT: See my post below, the dust cap may not be different, so I am not sure what is different on the newer cars). This is how it looks when you mount up the wheel, and note that I am using a 1/4" spacer on here (I needed a 1/4" spacer to clear my Brembos). It's almost protruding out past the lip for the center cap.

Center cap is, as far as I can tell, unchanged from the earlier cars (it's the same as the cap on my earlier S550 wheels but the center cap area sticks out further than it does on these S650 wheels, I no longer have any S197 wheels to compare it to)

So, to make it fit you have to cut off some of the inside of the tabs, and you also have to cut off the posts for the pony emblem. I cut the tabs with my portaband on a table, I'm not sure how you could cut them otherwise. The posts I just snipped off with side cutters.

Even with all this, it still pushes out the tail end of the pony emblem a little bit. I'm pretty sure you would not be able to install center caps at all without a spacer.
I'm not sure if anyone else eyed these takeoffs like I did but this is just something to be aware of!
