Odd NHRA Pro Stock Question

So, I hope someone on here can help me. I googled this shit, but came up with nothing.

My dad and his friend made a bet, and I don't even know how this came up, but here it is.

Does anyone have any idea at what point during a run does a NHRA Pro Stocker shift into 5th gear? It is to my understanding that they are 5 speeds.

Any info, or direction of where I could find this out, would be much appreciated.

Hopefully it is at the 1/8th mile mark, so my dad can be $50 richer, instead of $50 poorer.

5th gear comes after the 1/8th. You can tell here, AJ's car at about 4:15.

Well, here is the problem with trying to determine it with video.

Light travels at 186,000 miles per second, and sound travels at 660 miles per hour.

So, by the time you hear the car shift into 5th, it is way further down the track than when it shifted. So, these vids don't do me any good.

Ok, so, by my best estimates, he launches at about 12:00:22.5 and shifts into 5th at about 12:00:26.5

Without tenths of a second on any of the timers, the best I come up with is about 4 seconds.

No, I looked up 1/8 mile times for a pro stock car, and it is between 4.18 to 4.22 seconds.

Pretty damn close, with the evidence we have.
