I have the Ford Racing Oil Pressure Electric Sweep from AutoMeter and was looking around on how to install it but I cant find any pictures... I was wondering if anyone had any instructions with pictures...
There seems to be a couple ways to do the install but I want to keep my stock sensor hooked up...
Is it possible to do it without the kit from autometer...

Did you have any problems installin the sandwich adapter??? Would I still need the the kit from autometer ontop of the adapter???
I don't know what kit from Autometer you're talking about, but I think they make a sandwich adapter too. If that's the one you mean, it's very similar to the Gloshift one I have. It was super easy to install. Just make sure the oil line going to the gauge sensor is nowhere near your exhaust manifold.

+1 on the sandwich adapter. Just make sure it's on nice and tight or your engine will be bathing in oil, trust me. All you will need with it is the sending unit that should come with the gauge. The adapter comes with everything else

Something that wasn't in Bigray's thread was that you will need a shorter oil filter. There are a few out there, but I use a Mobil 1 M1-210 filter. Just something to be aware of.

I guess you missed that part in my thread, including the side-by-side pic of the STP S2 + adapter vs. the Motorcraft FS820.

Motorcraft has now resized the FL820-S and it works prefectly with the glowshift adapter now.Just look for the box that says new size.

I use mobile 1 and the filter designated for our cars.... Is that the filter you guys are talking about???

AutoMeter sells a 3ft piece of braided hose and adapters for 35 bills but from what i and thinking eliminates the stock pressure monitor... I was just seeing if I Would still need the buy 3ft of braided hose or not..

But that's only due to clearance with the swaybar, right? I don't have one anymore, so it wouldn't be an issue for me.
