Loving your house more and more Nasty!! Not sure if we will build a house or buy an existing home. Either way, I may ask you for some landscaping advice!

Thanks! It went fast in the begining before we moved in and now it's down to a snails pace. I hate it! Although my back has been pretty bad. I've got three really bad herniated discs, thought I was going to have to have surgery etc. I just need to get the plants bought and planted.. As well as the rock!

I thought you laid the grass down and were waiting for it to grow out of control to really see if you bought a good mower?? Haha. actually I never laid grass down so I wasn't sure how fast it grew at first.

Well from how much I've been watering it, it's growing like crazy. St. Augustine needs a ton of water. It's got it's first round of a general fertilizer as well. Trying to get it established ASAP so I can treat the Dollar Weed before it gets too hot. I was super worried about the water bill because I was watering like crazy with how hot it is here. Well, I used 70,000 gallons of reclaimed water / irrigation and it was only an additional $40 on the bill! Woot!

By the way, the mower works flawlessly. I love it, cuts super nice. It mulches the clippings up like nobodies business.

I hear you man, when I first moved in the water bill was crazy. I was watering the grass like crazy during the summer heat. I take pride being one of the very few homes on my street without a gardener and my lawn looks better than their lawns do. I wasn't about to spend the $80 a month the previous owner was paying for the gardener. An hour or so of my time each week mowing the lawn and pulling small weeds is worth saving $80 to me.

Exactly. Around here you'll spend $110-$120 a month for a yard my size. I'd rather do it myself and know it's done how I want it and when I want it.

Got some more stuff done...

New Delta Windermere faucet, etc. Ended up having to replace both valves under the sink since they started a slow drip after turning them off...

Nice man. Except for the Dwight 4 MVP poster. How'd being a magic fan turn out for you haha

D12 has had his best year. D. Rose is overrated and without that D12 would still be getting MVP.

Being a Magic fan turned out just fine though. I don't pick the team that has to be winning. I pick the team and hopefully they win. Probably a Lakers fan, right? LOLOL

I got it from Home Depot and it's made by RubberMaid. The hardware and directions are for drywall. I tried to use Tapcons to secure it to the block. The 3/8" just didn't work. The 1/4" worked but I'm going to redo it because I don't think it's as secure as I'd like it. There is a channel inside that does not allow the Tapcons to sit flush so there's only a small section of the head that is applying force to the wall. I'd like to find a new fastener but I think I might need to secure a 2x2" piece of wood to the wall and than secure the rail to it with a standard wood screw. There are 42 holes so I'm sure that will be plenty since they claim that in drywall/studs with their anchors and standard screws support 2,000 lbs.

On sale plus ended up just getting a Home Depot credit card to get an additional 10% off. So it ended up being $340 from $500. It wouldn't fit in the Mustang so I had to rent one of their trucks. LOL

about time you post some updates! Haha. That's a nice table set bud. With all the overtime I've been putting in at work plus my work schedule working 2-10pm I havent really done any work at home. Just changed work shifts for the next three months working 6a-2pm Monday through Friday so I'm going to put a lot of work in the house again this summer. Probably going to steal a few ideas from you too haha
