A lot of people do not get the Wow factor they want with lighter colored cars because they don't see all the stuff they need to get rid of in their paint like you do on a dark car.

Thus, you think you're "finished" when you're not, and your result is not as good as it could be with a more refined smooth base finish prior to LSP

Agreed, although I examine everything under a lot of lighting as well as a sun gun.

Exactly, we even do that on black cars to get them the best they can be. The average person does not go to those extra measures with any car, so they get black closer to what it needs to be because they can see what they are doing, somewhat, without the lights, etc. It takes a good eye and good lights to see all the imperfections on a white car for sure.

Believe it or not, I actually use a high powered LED head lamp lot's of the time when I'm working on one. Keeps my hands free and I can easily see what I'm doing with it. Still have to break out the gun or the LED wand for final inspections, though.

Any suggestions on detailing for clearbras? parts of my car have this applied. I generally just quick detail them because I'm lazy (the stuff doesn't show scratches or swirles, it's genius. If i had more money, I would get the whole car clear bra'd).

Just Aquartz the entire car. Almost the same in concept.
