So my car started knocking out of no were two days ago and got a the code p0353 on the scanner. I changed the coil on cylinder 3 thinking it would fix it but nothing changed. I tested different spark plugs and still nothing. What else could it be?

That code is for a circuit malfunction. Check the circuit, not the coil. Does the connector clip on properly? I have replace all of mine after a couple of the plastic clips that you press on to release the connector broke. If it doesn't click on there the vibration from the motor will shake it loose intermittently. Check to make sure all the pins are straight and firmly attached to the wires. Check the wires themselves. Check the ground but I suppose if it was a ground issue they share a common so it would be effecting all of the cylinders. Anyways, sounds like a wiring issue.

Why, just why, would you check engine compression for a primary/secondary circuit malfunction? How would shitty compression effect the ignition circuit?
My bad homie I didn't look up the code just figured it was for a misfire. You are right in that case I would look at the wiring or ecm function.

Ok i checked the wires and they all seem fine, they clip in fine, maybe a wire brunt out? This is all new to me as my previous car was a 95 GT. This is my first Modular so I'm not verry familiar with these 4.6
