I've got to ask because I don't normally believe in coincidences. Could this have somehow been caused by my hooking up nitrous, bottle heater, bottle pressure sensor, purge and NOS wot/window switch.

I finished all the above wiring yesterday and as far as I can tell all went ok. Well other then I decided to connect my switches up to the positive power cable going to the fuse box in the engine bay (so it's not key'd 12 volt source but constant 12V source).

The solenoids both clicked which is a good sign. The NOS window switch powered up and I programmed it per the instructions I found online. The bottle heater switch lit up and I heard a click from the pressure sensor relay. Finally the purge clicks when I push the button. So I think it's all good although I don't have the bottle filled yet so I can't actually spray to see for sure.

Once I finished the above tests I switched the arming switch and bottle heater switch off and just drove the car normally. After a twenty minute drive I shut the car off for a few hours and when I started the car again the passenger airbag off light came on and stayed on.

Is this just a coincidence? Or is this somehow connected to all the wiring I did including t-tapping into the ignition signal and TPS as part of the NOS window switch instructions?

The only time the pass side airbag 'off light' is supposed to come on is if there is weight on the pass seat, but it's < 60 lbs. The idea is you don't want pass side airbag deployment with a smaller child in front seat. There is some weight sensor in there some where, since with no weight at all, the 'off' light will not come on.

I didn't know that. Tomorrow I'll make sure there is nothing on the seat and re-start the car. Maybe that's all it was. Thanks!

I had the 'off light' come on a few weeks ago.... but that was from some heavy groceries and junk on both the seat and the pass side floor. Once removed from seat, the light goes out. Still don't know what the weight threshold is though. It's 60 lbs at the top end, but dunno what the bottom end is. The groceries on the seat were way less than 60 lbs. (milk + pepsi etc) . Then more crap on the pass side floor. But its the weight on the pass seat that sets the light to the off position. I have no clue where the actual weight sensor resides in the pass seat.

I noticed it go off one other time..when I was the passenger...and lifted my rear end up slightly to get my wallet out at the drive through.
