What do u need to mount the ysi? I have a 2200. And what is the difference between the ysi and 2200? They have the same inlet and outlet as the ysi?

Is this a direct replacement for Vortech V2/V3 head unit or do other changes need to be made?

I think this is the competition head unit as he says oil fed so an oil line has to be tapped to feed it otherwise it should be the same mounting depending on how its clocked

YSi bolts into the same location. Outside dimensions are physically the same. YSi will support 1200+ horsepower. It doesn't have the low end boost curve of the 2200 though.

Physically its a direct replacement. You will also need 2 couplers. One for the inlet (4") and one for the outlet (3").
