Anyone else going? I see a few other Mustangs signed up other than my normal gang. I'll be there in my 2011 that I won Nationals with last year (one of the last times before I'm off to ESP). Mike Snyder and Lee Piccione will be there in the Shelby GT I won the previous 3 National Championships with too!

Come say hi, Strano Performance Parts will have Mustangs out in force! The event is being held @ Dover International Speedway.

I didn't go due to work, by my friend Eric went with his new 2011 WRX. I haven't seen him yet to ask how he did. He did mention someone was desigining the course that didn't design a course before. I am curious how it turned out.

Eric Simmons? He did pretty well (helped in no doubt by his Strano Performance Parts supplied Koni's). :) The '11 WRX looks to be a great car for D-stock.

I had some issues. The lot is dirty and we ran first heat. And my gremlin is back that costs me about 200 hp... which isn't much fun since I was to start the ESP build soon.

Yes, Eric Simmons. He better do well in the '11 WRX because he told me he has to keep it for a few years, unlike his 103 previous cars.

Any clue to what is causing the loss of power?

We know what's happening, just don't know why still. Luckily I've got some help from a Ford powertrain engineer, and we're proceeding with some new ideas. It's got me in a bind since I have to start prepping the car, or fall back to my Camaro for ESP (which I don't want to do, while fast I've been there done that).

hopefully its something easy and not the traction/stability control going stupid.

mine was losing power off boost (stumbling) at last month's autocross and it turned out i had 4 loose sparkplugs... changed them, made sure the new one's were tight, full power back.

It's an issue with one of cam sensors dropping out, just haven't figured out why yet.

You think they would have found the issue already. Are any of the Grand Am/Continential Tire Cup mustangs having the same issues with that motor Sam?

Well, they had an issue that seemed the same, but it's a little different. We're on it. I'm getting some great help from some friends @ Ford. Just hope we can fix it soon. :)

As long as its sorted by the NJ Pro, I saw you're registered in ESP. My home region is hosting that btw, I will be there working.
