Mach,

Is it the flash or what? How is it that your C-strip looks black in pics and white/cream in others?

Agreed! :) Deez, your car looks amazing! Both of them actually. Love the conversion, you just need a Tru-Fiber hood. May I suggest their GT500 cowl hood? Lol.

Thanks man. And no I like my stock hood. I'm not a Cowl hood fan and I like my ride to look a little different than most conversion.

Yeah I gotcha, just a thought. I guess with the stock hood it helps let people know that it's a GT instead of a GT500 (plus the GT emblem).

Deez, the stripe is a vinyl reflective, black/white. When light hits it, it turns white. The more light or the brighter the light the whiter it gets. Gets a lot of attention at night.
The 69-70 Boss 302 and Mach 1s had the option for the reflective stripe. When I was a kid there were two in my little town, a Green w/black/white reflective Boss 302 and a Grabber Orange Mach 1 w/black/white reflective with shaker scoop and black center hood stripe. I loved those two cars. The green one got totalled in a drag race, at an old army base (some pics of my car in earlier post in this thread are at that base), the local authorithies had dug a trench across the abandoned road that everyone drag raced on at that time and didn't put up any signs and he hit it doing about 100 or so. End of Boss 302!!!
The Grabber Orange one lived on for many years in that area. The lady that owned it kept it in beautiful shape until about 1983 when she sold it to a young man there who destroyed it for the most part. That car is where I got the theme for mine as far as striping etc.

Sorry didn't mean to write a novel. LOL!

I like the stock hood on your car, it sets it apart from all the GT500s and with the 500 front bumper/grille it just looks clean.

Wish I had a better pic, but thought I'd post an update...

Switched from a Roush Stage 3 suspension to BMR. Added the GT/CS front fascia.

I dig that hood... what is it?

Here you go Mach2... lol you think your stripe are fancy.

ok you have to know that I bought this car from my father before he passed away. I've really never changed that much about the car bc I like keeping it the way he built it. Also the stripes are under clear coat I think hahaaa. My friends give me sh!t over those stripes but I get a good laugh out of it everytime. But for real I try not to ever park it under street lights when I have it out at night.
